Texas Cancer Information or TCI (www.texascancer.info) offers on-line and printed information for patients, caregivers, the general public, health care policy planners, researchers, physicians, and other health professionals. TCI maintains and updates databases of statewide health care providers, facilities, cancer programs, community resources and support information which are updated annually through a formal survey process. Other online services include: population and cancer statistics by county and for the entire state, as well as an online resource titled Access to Cancer Care for Low-Income and Uninsured Patients available for each of Texas’ 254 counties.
